Afghanistan stun defending champions England by 69 runs in huge WC upset

New Delhi, 15/10: Afghanistan stunned defending champions England after beating them by 69 runs in match 13 of the ICC Men’s World Cup at Delhi’s Arun Jaitley Stadium on Sunday.

Having sent to bat first, the Afghan side posted a total of 284 against the English side, thanks to opener Rahmanullah Gurbaz’s 80 off 57. In the bowling front, spinners Rashid Khan and Mujeeb Ur Rahman took 3 wickets each, bowling out England for 215 runs
