Modi govt wants to bring seven new bills in Parliament’s Winter Session

New Delhi, 29/11: The Narendra Modi government is planning to bring seven new Bills, including setting up a Central Tribal University in Telangana and providing women’s quota in Jammu and Kashmir and Puducherry Assemblies, during the upcoming Winter Session of the Parliament.

This is besides ten other pending Bills, including the proposed legislations to redraft the Indian Penal Code, Criminal Procedure Code, and the Evidence Act. The government has listed a total of 17 Bills, which it intends to bring during the Session.
