Over 60% polling in Phase 1 across 102 seats, West Bengal records highest turnout; Bihar lowest

New Delhi, 19/4: Over 60 per cent of 16.63 crore Indian voters on Friday exercised their franchise in 102 constituencies spread across 21 states and union territories in the first phase of  Loksabha election.

Throughout the day, there were also incidents of shooting and intimidation in ethnic-strife hit Manipur, sporadic clashes between Trinamool Congress and BJP workers in West Bengal and poll boycott call leading to none voting in six districts of Nagal
