Keonjhar, 19/10:Ardent Steel Limited at village Phuljhar, Block Banspal in Keonjhar District to obtain Environmental clearance from the Ministry of Environment, Forest, and Climate Change, Govt of India, New Delhi for expansion of Iron ore palletizing Plant (0.85 MTPA to 1.7 MTPA),Iron Ore Beneficiation Plant (3.0 MTPA), Pig Iron Blast Furnace (0.60 MTPA), DRI Plant (0.36 MTPA), Sinter Plant (0.60 MTPA), SMS/Arc Furnace (ZPF) (0.72 MTPA),Rolling/Hot Strip Mill (0.7 MPTA) & CPP (WHRB-35 MW & AFBC-35 MW) vide clearance letter No-J-11011/112/2013-IA-II(I) dated. 17.10.2022.
The local people of the Keonjhar district are happy with the Government to obtain Environmental Clearance to expansion of existing plant and set up the Integrated steel plant by Ardent Steel Limited. Keonjhar.
Director of Ardent Steel Limited Dr. Subhasish Das thanked the Honourable Collector cum District Magistrate-Keonjhar with other government officials and wished the stake holder, local people with all officers and employees of the organisation.
Director said that all are hopeful that livelihood will be changed and it will be a path of development and create a new identity for the district. Especially it will help in the field of infrastructure, local employment, education, road and transport, social and economic development
