Jajpur: A passenger bus caught fire today after hitting a bike in Jajpur district of Odisha. A man and his wife was on the bike. Both of them have been killed in this accident that took place near Chhatia. The bus was going from Bhubaneswar to Balasore.The identity of the deceased couple is yet to be ascertained.As per reports, the passenger bus hit the bike near Chhatia. As a result the man and his wife, who were travelling in the bike, were killed.Besides, the bus caught fire. However, the passengers in the bus got down from the bus before the fire could spread and thus saved their lives.After getting information, police personnel from Chhatia beat house reached the spot. Also, the fire services personnel rushed to the spot and initiated fire dousing mission. By the time this report was written, the dousing of flames by the fire services personnel was underway.
