Baliguda: In a horrific incident, a man allegedly killed his wife by slitting her throat after she refused to give him money to buy liqour at Nuamunda village under Tumudibandha police limits of Kandhamal district.The deceased woman has been identified as Madhumati Dalai of the same village.As per reports, Madhumati’s husband Chandrakant asked her money for buying liqour, she refused. They had an altercation between them and in a fit of rage, Chandrakant slit her throat with a sharp weapon.On seeing his mother lying in a pool of blood, his son lodged a complaint at the Baliguda police station.On being informed about the incident, the cops reached the spot, recovered the body and arrested her husband.Till the last reports were filed in, scientific team to reach the spot and then the body will be sent to the hospital for post-mortem.
