Schools will open in Maharashtra from August 17, separate rules for rural and urban areas

New Delhi, 10/8: Schools which are closed due to Corona epidemic (Covid-19 Pandemic) are now being opened in the country. After the decision of many state governments, now the Maharashtra government has also given permission to open schools here. Schools will be opened from August 17. According to the new rules, schools will open up to 5-8 in rural areas and up to 8-12 in urban areas.

 

Before this, many states of the country have decided to open schools. The UP government has decided to open the school from August 16. During this, the school will be run with 50 percent attendance. Students in the school have been asked to compulsorily wear masks along with social distancing. Students will need the written consent of their parents to attend school. Without the consent letter, admission will not be given in the school.

Apart from this, it has been decided to open schools in states like Jharkhand, Madhya Pradesh, Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, Haryana, Uttarakhand, Chhattisgarh, Karnataka, Bihar, Gujarat.

Corona infection increased among children after school opened in Punjab

However, concerns have also been expressed regarding the opening of the school. As soon as schools open in Punjab, cases of corona infection among children are increasing. 20 students have been found corona positive in two government schools of Ludhiana. There has been a stir in the entire district administration after the children in the government school were found corona infected. All schools have been opened by the Punjab government from 26th July to class 10th to 12th and from 2nd August. After this, it has been said by the Chief Secretary Punjab to conduct daily testing in schools. Due to the continuous infection of children, the concern of education officials has increased and now there is speculation that schools will be closed again in view of the third wave.
