Dhaka, 19/1: A Bangladesh court has issued an arrest warrant against cricketer Shakib Al Hasan over a case of bounced cheques, the total sum of which is more than $300,000 (Rs 2.6 crore approx.) as per a report by AFP.
Bangladesh’s IFIC Bank had filed the case against the ace cricketer-cum-former politician. An official of the bank told AFP, “The court has previously summoned Shakib but he did not appear at the court”.
