India 233/6 at stumps against Australia

Adelaide Test, Day 1

Adelaide: Australia reduced India to 233/6 at stumps on the opening day of the pink ball Test, here at the Adelaide Oval on Thursday.
Wriddhiman Saha and Ravichandran Ashwin were batting on 9 and 15 respectively at close of play on Day 1.
Skipper Virat Kohli top-scored for India with 74 before getting run out. He featured in two fifty-plus runs partnerships – an 88-run stand with Ajinkya Rahane (42) for the fourth wicket and a 68-run stand with Cheteshwar Paujara (43). From a comfortable 188 for 3, India slumped to 206 for 6 as Kohli, Rahane and Hanuma Vihari (16) got out in quick succession in the last session of the day.
Ravi Chandran Ashwin and Wriddhiman Saha took the innings to the end of the day, with India to resume their batting on Day 2 from 233/6 in 89 overs. In this innings Australia first bowler Mitchel Starc bowling 19 overs and take 2wkts. Also first bolwer Hazlewood , Pat Cummins and spinner Natha lyon get one one wickets.
