Farmer Union will resume talk with Government on 29th December

New Delhi, 26/12 (AO Bureau ): Today is the 31st day of the agitation of farmers against the new agricultural laws. Meanwhile, farmer organizations held a meeting on the Singhu border of Delhi. In which the farmers’ organizations have agreed on further talks while deciding on the government’s proposal. The Sanyukt Kisan Morcha (SKM) said after meeting on the government’s proposal that they have proposed talks with the Center on December 29 at 11 am. Along with this, farmer organizations have written a letter to the government and then demanded the repeal of agricultural laws.

Sanyukt Kisan Morcha wrote in a letter to the government, ‘Your letter was received on 24 December. Sadly, in this letter also, the government has tried to mislead the public by hiding the facts of previous meetings. We always demanded the repeal of three central agricultural laws in every dialogue. The government twisted it and presented it as if we had demanded an amendment in these laws. You say in your letter that the government wants to listen respectfully to the farmers. If you really want to do this, then, first of all, do not misunderstand what issues we have raised in the talks and stop the propaganda against the farmers using the entire government machinery.

Sanyukt  Kisan Morcha further wrote, ‘However, since you say that the government is ready to negotiate on the time of farmers’ convenience and on the issues chosen by the farmers, we are negotiating with all the organizations on behalf of the United Kisan Morcha and making the following proposal Huh. Our proposal is that the next meeting between the representatives of the farmers and the Government of India be held on December 29, 2020, at 11 am.
