Rajkot, 31/12 (AO Bureau) Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday laid the foundation stone of All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) through video conferencing in Rajkot (Rajkot AIIMS), Gujarat. PM Modi also spoke on Coronavirus and his vaccine (Corona Vaccine) during this time. He informed the country that the vaccine of coronavirus is in the final stages of manufacture. The vaccine is coming soon. We will make vaccination a success.
PM Modi said that before 2014, our health sector was working in different directions, with different approaches. Primary health care had its own system, facilities in the village were negligible. We started working holistically in the health sector. While we emphasized preventive care, on one hand, we also gave priority to modern treatment facilities.
PM Modi said during this time, ‘This year has been filled with challenges of health services for the whole world. Health is the property. When there is an injury to health, every aspect of life is affected. The whole social circle is in its grip. Therefore, this last day of the year is to remember India’s millions of doctors, health warriors, sanitation workers, working in drug stores, and other front line corona warriors. I salute the colleagues who have given their lives on the duty path.’
