Sourav Ganguly’s health condition stable after suffering from heart attack

Mumbai, 2/1 (AO Bureau): Board of Control of Cricket in India(BCCI) President and former captain Sourav Ganguly was admitted to the hospital after a ‘mild’ heart attack. Ganguly, 48, is in stable condition and is undergoing treatment at a private Woodlands hospital.

According to the latest reports, Ganguly has undergone a stent and his angioplasty is over. After the surgery, his condition is better now. Ganguly has been admitted to the Critical Care Unit (CCU) of the hospital. After a workout session on Friday evening, he complained of chest pain, and after such a problem again this afternoon, family members took him to the hospital.

Doctors at Woodlands Hospital said that blockage has been found in three of Ganguly’s arteries. One of these artery blocks up to 90 percent. His condition remains stable after surgery. Doctors may consider transplanting two more stents in the next few days. Ganguly will remain in the hospital for the next two days.
