No further reduction in syllabus: Minister

Bhubaneswar, 5/1 (AO Bureau): The Schools In Odisha are set to open from January  8 for Class 10 and class 12. According to the School and Mass Education Minister Samir Ranjan Dash, there will be no further reduction in syllabus. Previously, the syllabus has been reduced by 30 percent.

The Minister said “The Principal Secretary of the department yesterday held a meeting with all District Education Officers (DEOs). A Nodal Officer has already been engaged in each district. They will work  in coordination with their respective Collectors and DEOs,”

He also added that there will be 25 students in each section. The number of sections will be increased if the number of Students is more.
