SII and Bharat Biotech jointly communicate their pledge towards a smooth roll out of covid-19 vaccines

New Delhi, 5/1 (AO Bureau): After rhetoric on each other regarding the Corona vaccine, now the Serum Institute and Bharat Biotech have issued a joint press statement. In this statement, a commitment has been made by the heads of both companies to make the corona vaccination successful in the country and the world.

The press statement has been issued by Adar Poonawal, CEO of Serum Institute, and Krishna Alla, Managing Director of Bharat-Biotech. Both have pledged to make and supply the vaccine through a collective effort. Both have said that the most important goal in front of them at this time is to save people’s lives.

Ashok Gehlot’s statement too
Meanwhile, Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot has urged Prime Minister Narendra Modi to intervene, calling the rhetoric between the Serum Institute and Bharat Biotech unfortunate. In a tweet, Gehlot said, “The mutual rhetoric between the two companies is unfortunate after the approval of the Serum Institute and Bharat Biotech vaccine in India.” This is a sensitive issue in which the Prime Minister should intervene.
