AAP MLA arrested for making controversial statement against UP govt

UP, 11/01 (AO Bureau): On Monday, a young man threw black ink over AAP MLA Somnath Bharti in Raebareli. The incident happened at the Irrigation Department Guest House in Rae Bareli when he was about to visit the hospitals in the Neta district. Activists of BJP and Hindu Yuva Vahini threw black ink on the AAP leader. During this, the AAP MLA also had an argument with the police officers. After this, they were arrested and kept in the guest house of the irrigation department. Later, he was escorted and sent to Amethi.

AAP MLA Somnath Bharti has been arrested for the controversial statement given on the hospitals in UP. Former Delhi government minister and sitting MLA Somnath Bharti has been arrested by the Amethi police. A case under Section 505 and 153A was filed against him in Jagdishpur Kotwali. Jagdishpur Police has arrested Somnath Bharti from Rae Bareli and left for Amethi. He gave a provocative statement at the party worker meeting in Jagdishpur, Amethi on Saturday. After the arrest of MLA, the convoy of dozens of vehicles of AAP workers from Rae Bareli has been left behind. The MLA had said that dogs are born in UP hospitals.
