Farmer Protest : Supreme Court Stays on Farm bill

New Delhi, 12/1 (AO Bureau): In a major breakthrough for protesting farmers, the Supreme court has stayed the implementation of farm laws until further orders. It has also set up the four-member committee to break the deadlock between farmers and the Centre. The committee comprises H S Mann, Pramod Kumar Joshi, Ashok Gulati and Anil Dhanwant.

Previously, the Supreme Court  demanded the repeal of the three new farm laws, saying it was “extremely disappointed” with the negotiation process, and also expressed its inclination to stay the implementation of the acts
