The police team, which went on the night of July 2, was attacked by Vikas Dubey and his associates. 8 policemen including were killed in the firing carried out by Vikas and his men. After this, on the morning of July 3, the police were combing in the village and surrounding areas, when the police had an encounter with two miscreants in Kashipur Nawada village. In which Vikas’s companions Prem Prakash Pandey and Atul Dubey were killed. The investigation of this encounter was handed over to the ADM (landowner). It was clear that Prem Prakash and Atul had opened fire on the policemen near the temple outside the Kashiram Nawada village. After this, the police opened fire in self-defense and both were killed.
