New Delhi, 25/1 (AO bureau): President Ram Nath Kovid has approved the award of the Jeevan Raksha Padak Series of Awards 2020 to 40 persons. An official statement issued by the Union Home Ministry includes Sarvottam Jeevan Raksha Padak to one, Uttam Jeevan Raksha Padak to eight & Jeevan Raksha Padak to 31 persons. One award is posthumous
These awards are given for the commendable work of human nature to save and help a person’s life in crisis. These include drowning, accident, fire incident, lightning, natural calamities, help in rescue operations in mines, etc.
