India will miss these 2 bowlers against England

New Delhi, 30/1 (AO Bureau)For the upcoming Test series against England, Team India is being considered as the favorite team. India will get the benefit of playing in their home ground but Team India will miss the reverse swing bowlers Mohammed Shami and Umesh Yadav. On Indian pitches, reverse swing is the lethal weapon of fast bowlers. Reverse swing plays an important role on Asian pitches. The team of England defeated India, led by Mahendra Singh Dhoni, 2–1, due to this infallible weapon on the Indian tour in 2012–13.

On that tour, England spinners Monty Panesar and Graeme Swann took a lot of wickets against the Indian batsmen. However, Dhoni termed the presence of James Anderson in the England camp as the major difference between the two sides. Anderson had taken only 12 wickets in four Tests, but it made a difference. The 38-year-old Anderson will play in at least one of the first two Tests. England also have the experienced Stuart Broad and Joffra Archer. Ben Stokes also specializes in reverse swing bowling. On the other hand, India has Jaspreet Bumrah, Ishant Sharma, Mohammad Siraj and Shardul Thakur. India does not have Shami and Umesh who have been effective in domestic situations. Both were injured on a recent tour of Australia. He has not been included in the team for the first two Tests.
