Cinema halls allowed to operate with 100 percent capacity

Mumbai, 31/1(AO Bureau): Theaters have been allowed to open with 100 percent capacity across the country. The Ministry of Information and Broadcasting has also released a new set of SOPs for theaters to prevent the spread of Coronavirus. According to the new SOP, from 1 February, cinemas with 100 percent capacity will be opened across the country.

Significantly, the cinema halls, theaters, and multiplexes were closed with the onset of the Corona epidemic in the country in March. Now, following the Standard Operating Procedure (SOP), the seating capacity of theaters, cinemas, and multiplexes is allowed to be increased from the current 50 percent to 100 percent.
