Share Market : Sensex starts with 1000 point jump

Mumbai, 2/2 (AO Bureau) : Today, the domestic stock market has started strong amid announcements in the budget and strong global cues. The Nifty has been successful in opening beyond 14,500. The major 30-share index Sensex opened 734 points, or 1.51 percent, on the Bombay Stock Exchange at 09:15 in the morning. For a while, it is crossing 49,600 with a bounce of more than 1000 points. The Nifty 50 is also trading up 220 points, or 1.55 percent, on the National Stock Exchange. In early trading today, 1027 stocks were seen, when 171 shares fell. Nifty Bank has also managed to cross the 34,000 level.

On the sectoral front, today all sectors are trading on the green mark. The most rapid growth is seen today in auto, banking, IT, consumer durables, and capital goods. Talking about the broad market, the midcap and small index are also seen trading well. CNX Midcap is also trading with more than 500 bounce. Barring only Hindustan Unilever, all other stocks are trading on the green mark in 30 Sensex stocks.
