Cuttack, 5/2 (AO Bureau): In a major announcement, the collector of the Cuttack district of Odisha Bhabani Shankar Chayani issued a directive that the Healthcare workers and Anganwadi workers of Odisha’s Cuttack district will have to face salary deduction if they refuse to take Coronavirus vaccine.
In a letter to the Cuttack Municipal Corporation (CMC) Commissioner, Principal & Dean, SCB Medical College, and Hospital, CDM & PHO, Cuttack, and several concerned Officers, Cuttack collector wrote” It is found that a large number of health workers/Anganwadi workers who have registered under different establishments are not turning up for COVID-19 vaccination. As the percentage of vaccination of Cuttack district is one of the lowest in the state, it is causing a great embarrassment,”
