Election can be held in 8 phases in West Bengal

New Delhi, 10/2 (AO Bureau) :The Election Commission of India is making plans for the Assembly Election Dates 2021 of five states. According to the information received, in 3 out of five states, elections can be held in 1 and 2 phases whereas in other states in 2-3 and 6-8 phases. According to the information received, the commission is preparing to hold elections in 1 phase in Tamil Nadu, Kerala, and Puducherry. In Assam, elections can be held in 2-3 stages.

On the other hand, two options are being considered in West Bengal. According to the information received from sources, elections can be held in Bengal in 7-8 phase or 5-6 phase. It is expected that elections can be held in the state in 6 or 7 phases. The Commission will put a final seal after February 15 on the dates and stages of assembly elections in five states.

Elections are to be held in the first five weeks of June in these five states
According to the Election Commission, the government’s term is ending on May 24 in Tamil Nadu, May 30 in West Bengal, May 31 in Assam, June 8 in Puducherry and June 1, 2021, in Kerala. In Tamil Nadu, E. Palaniswamy’s All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (AIADMK) government.
