Indian squad for final two tests announced

Ahmedabad, 17/2 (AO Bureau) : Team India has been announced for the last two Tests against Gland. There is only one chancge in the Indian team. If Umesh Yadav passes the fitness test, he will replace Shardul Thakur. Mumbai pacer Shardul Thakur will be released for the Vijay Hazare Trophy. Apart from this, Abhimanyu Easwaran, Shahbaz Nadeem, and Priyank Panchal have been released for Vijay Hazare Trophy.

The third Test match between India and England will be played with a pink ball at Motera Stadium in Ahmedabad. Umesh Yadav can lead the pace bowling with Jasprit Bumrah and Ishant Sharma in this day-night test. Shubman Gill was injured during fielding on the third day of the second Test, though he is expected to be fit before the third Test. There can be two changes in the Indian team for the third Test. Kuldeep Yadav can be replaced by Umesh Yadav and Mohammad Siraj in Jaspreet Bumrah.

The four-match Test series is still at 1-1. India defeated England by 317 runs in the second Test, while in the first match, Team India had to face defeat by the English team by 227 runs. If the Indian team has to meet New Zealand in the final of the World Test Championship, then they will have to win at least two Test matches in this series. Apart from this, due to another defeat from England, Team India will be eliminated from the final on June 18 at Lord’s ground.
