Bhubaneswar. 19/2 (Ao Bureau)Five people were killed in a tragic accident at Sarkana in the Mayurbhanj district. Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik extended his deepest condolences to the family of the deceased. The Chief Minister has announced a grant of Rs 2 lakh for the families of four of the dead.
However, a series of accidents took place on Thursday morning at the top of the Baripada-Amarda state highway in Mayurbhanj district. A series of three cars collided head-on with a truck, injuring four people and injuring four others. Protesters blocked the road at Shirshapal Square in protest of the three-point demand for regular accidents.
