Odisha Budget 2021-2022 Presented by Finance minister Niranjan Pujari

Bhubaneswar, 22/2 (AO Bureau): In a major development, Odisha Finance minister Niranjan Pujari presented the union budget for the economic year 2021-2022 in the assembly.

A budget of Rs 170,000 crore has been presented for the financial year 2021-22. “The development of the state has been affected by the epidemic,” he said. In the fiscal year 2021-22, the administrative expenditure is Rs 85,000 crore. Rs 75,000 crore has been earmarked for program expenditure, Similarly, Rs 3050 crore granted for disaster mitigation expenditure, and Rs 6950 crore for local welfare and development agencies. Water conservation, large irrigation projects will be taken up. Small irrigation projects, dams will be built. It is estimated that Rs 20,000 crore will be invested in agriculture-related sectors.

Odisha has been awarded the ‘Advanced State’ in the Swachh Survey-2020. There is Rs 3,95 crore to keep the cities clean. It will be available under the Odisha Integrated Sanitation Development Project. Rs 160 crore has been earmarked for the Urban Sewage Project.
