BJP announces candidates for 148 assembly constituency

Kolkatta, 18/3 (AO Bureau): The BJP has stamped 148 names for the West Bengal Assembly Elections. Let us know that a few days ago, a meeting of the BJP Central Election Committee was held under the leadership of PM Narendra Modi, BJP President JP Nadda, in which the names of the state assembly seats were discussed.

The party has given tickets to Mohammed Matiur Rahman from Harishchandrapur, Mafuja Khatoon from Sagardighi, Mehboob Alam from Bhagwanagola, Masuhara Khatun from Ranigar, Advocate SK Jiahuddin from Sujarpur, Rubia Khatun from Domkal. After growing dissatisfaction with many candidates who came to BJP from other parties in Bengal, the BJP has announced the names with much thought this time. The names of the candidates were discussed in the seats of the state assembly.

Earlier, for Bengal, BJP had released two lists and announced the names of 112 candidates. In which four MPs have been fielded including Union Minister Babul Supriyo, Lockett Chatterjee, Swapan Dasgupta, and Nisith Pramanik. Apart from this, BJP has also fielded the famous economist Ashok Lahiri from the Alipurduar Assembly seat. Apart from this, the BJP has also fielded many actors like Yash Das Gupta, Tanushree Chakraborty, Payal Sarkar, Anjana Basu, and Heera Chatterjee.
