Kolkatta, 19/3 (AO Bureau): The Bharatiya Janta Party on Thursday released a list of 148 candidates for the last four rounds of the West Bengal Assembly elections. According to him, Mukul Roy, a senior BJP leader, and the party’s national vice-president will contest from the Krishnanagar North constituency.
Candidates include senior leaders like Rahul Sinha, Asim Sarkar, Jagannath Sarkar. In addition, actress Tanushree Dutta, 11 MLAs, and one MP have been given party tickets. The candidate’s name for the West Bengal elections was finalized at a meeting of the party’s Central Election Committee in New Delhi on Wednesday.
