According to the World Health Organization (WHO) team, which visited China to trace the origin of Covid-19, coronavirus infection is expected to spread from bats to humans through other animals. There is little chance of the virus spreading from the laboratory. This information has been given in the draft report of the investigation team received by the news agency AP.
However, as per the investigation report, answers to many questions have not been found. The team has proposed further investigation on all other aspects except the aspect of virus leaking from the laboratory. There has been a continuous delay in the release of the report, raising questions as to whether the Chinese side is trying to influence the findings of the investigation so that the Covid-19 epidemic is not blamed on China.
