Pipili, 31/3 (AO Bureau): Politics is in full swing over the Pipili by-election. The BJD has fielded four senior leaders for the by-elections. Four senior leaders, namely Debi Mishra, Pratap Deb, Maheshwar Mohanty, and Sanjay Das Burma, have been appointed. BJD supremo Naveen Patnaik has been tasked with holding the polls in Pipili. BJD general secretary Manas Mangraj announced the news.
A total of 15 candidates have filed their nominations for the Pipili by-election. A total of 29 sets of nominations have been submitted. It will be checked today. 3 and 4 April are two days of withdrawal of nominations. The Pipili by-election will be held on the 17th.
