New Delhi, 4/4 (AO Bureau): Carona cases are increasing continuously in the country. In such a situation, questions are being raised about the organization of IPL (IPL 2021). Meanwhile, BCCI made a big announcement on Sunday. According to the board, the sports ministry will be asked to recommend the corona vaccine to the players. The T20 league is going to start on 9 April. The first match will be between Mumbai Indians and Royal Challengers Bangalore.
Speaking to ANI, BCCI vice-president Rajiv Shukla said, “In view of the growing case of Corona, according to me, vaccination is the only solution. Nobody knows when the corona will end and you cannot set a deadline for it. ” He said that vaccination is necessary for the safety of the players. Although earlier news was coming that players would not be vaccinated.
When Rajiv Shukla was asked if there was anything written in writing about the vaccination from the Ministry of Health, he said that the Board is considering it and certainly the Ministry will be approached for vaccination. It is known that Team India coach Ravi Shastri got the Corona vaccine during the India and England series. However, no such information has been reported about the players so far.
