problem for Maharashtra Home Minister, Bombay HC orders CBI inquiry

Mumbai, 5/4:After the allegations of former Mumbai Police Commissioner Param Bir Singh, once again, Maharashtra Home Minister Anil Deshmukh’s trouble seems to be increasing. On the petition of Dr. Jayashree Patil, the Bombay HC has asked the CBI to initiate a preliminary inquiry within 15 days on the corruption charges leveled against former Maharashtra Police Commissioner Param Bir Singh against Maharashtra Home Minister Anil Deshmukh.

Explain that while appealing to the Bombay High Court on behalf of the petitioner, Dr. Jayashree Patil, it was said that the allegations of former Mumbai Police Commissioner Parambir Singh should be investigated objectively. While hearing the case, Bombay High Court said, because Anil Deshmukh is the Home Minister, the police will not be able to conduct a fair inquiry into the matter. In such a case, the investigation of this case is handed over to the CBI.
