4 people died during 4th phase of Bengal Election

Kolkatta, 10/4 (AO bureau)Four people have died during the alleged firing by the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) during the fourth phase of elections in West Bengal (West Bengal election 2021). According to the information received, this incident happened in the Jorpatki area of ​​Mathabhanga block under Sitalkulchi Legislative Assembly in the Cooch Behar district.

While giving information about this incident, TMC leader Dola Sena said that ‘Central forces fired at two places. First, in Block-1 of Mathabhanga in Cooch Behar, where one person was killed, three others were injured. While three people died in Sitalkuchi block, one person was injured. Sen also accused the central security forces of torturing people.

On the other hand, CRPF has put its side in Sitalkuchi case. In a statement, the CRPF said, “CRPF was not deployed at the said booth nor was he involved in the said incident outside booth number 126 in Jorapatki of Sitalkuchi assembly constituency in Cooch Behar.”
