Prime Minister Narendra Modi to hold meeting for the CBSE board examination

New Delhi, 14/4 (AO Bureau):Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to hold an important meeting sometime amid demands by Chief Ministers of several states, political parties and Congress leader Rahul Gandhi to postpone or cancel the CBSE board examinations. According to the information received, PM Modi will hold a meeting with Education Minister Dr. Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank, Secretary, and other important officials for the CBSE Board Examination at 12 noon.

According to the news agency ANI, the Indian government source gave this information. On the other hand, as the demand for cancellation of the upcoming board exams of class 10th and 12th was intensified in view of the rapid increase in the cases of infection with the coronavirus, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) said on Tuesday that it has not yet Have not decided.

CBSE officials denied any change in the plan ’till now’ and stressed that arrangements are being made to ensure social distance by increasing more than 50 percent in the examination centers. The examinations are scheduled to begin on May 4.

 

Exams cannot be canceled – Board officials
A senior board official said that the examinations cannot be canceled as they are important in nature and cannot be conducted online. He said that the board is taking all necessary measures as per the guidelines related to Kovid and the number of examination centers has also been increased.

However, according to the news agency PTI, the sources indicated that the board may consider postponing the examination if the situation worsens. However, the official said, “No decision has been taken yet”.
