Lockdown announced in Jharkhand

Ranchi, 20/4 (AO Bureau): To break the Corona chain, the Jharkhand Government has decided to impose a one-week lockdown. The government has imposed a 7-day lockdown from the evening of April 22 to the evening of April 29. It has been named Safety Week. Chief Minister Hemant Soren announced this.

Earlier, Chief Minister Hemant Soren held a meeting with officials at the CM residence. Many officials including Chief Secretary Sukhdev Singh attended it. It has been decided to impose a lockdown for one week in the meeting.

Let us know that in the all-party meeting held two days ago, JMM and BJP advocated lockdown. Later this demand also came from Congress. Former CM Babulal Marandi spoke on the phone and emphasized the need for lockdown to Chief Minister Hemant Soren.

 

Here, seeing the havoc of Corona in Ranchi, traders are keeping shops closed following self-lockdown. The Secretariat Employees Union is also on mass leave in view of the demand for lockdown. The Jharkhand Chamber of Commerce also announced the self-lockdown, calling the lockdown necessary. And appealed to the traders to keep the shops closed. The people of the state are also in favor of breaking the corona peace. That is, in view of all-round pressure, the government has decided to impose a one-week lockdown.
