Bhubaneswar, 4/5 (AO bureau):An international award has been announced in memory of the late Manoj Das. Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik has announced the Manoj Das International Literary Award. The award is given annually for creative literature in English. The Chief Minister has announced Rs 10 lakh for the prize money.
There is also a Manoj Vikas Sahitya Pratibha Award for high school children. One award will be given in both English and Oriya. The Chief Minister has announced to pay Rs 1 lakh each for the award.
The Shankhari village house has also been declared a Manmath Manoj monument. There will be a library of books by Manmath Das, Manoj Das
