The Childhood coach of Virat Kohli passes away

Suresh Batra, who taught batting tricks to Kohli in his childhood, has passed away. Kohli took training under coach Rajkumar Sharma at the West Delhi Cricket Academy in the early days. Suresh Batra was an assistant coach in this academy. Batra, 53, recognized Kohli’s talent at the age of just nine.

Before becoming Kohli’s superstar, it was Rajkumar Sharma and Suresh Batra who helped him in developing his talent. Kohli started training under his supervision in just nine years. Apart from Kohli, Batra also trained Manjot Kalra, who scored a century in the 2018 Under-19 World Cup.
