New Delhi, 26/5 (AO Bureau): The Indian Medical Association (IMA) has written a letter to PM Narendra Modi demanding a sedition case against Patanjali owner Baba Ramdev. In the letter, the IMA accused Baba Ramdev of spreading misleading information. The letter has demanded that Ramdev stop such misinformation campaign. Let me tell you that in one video, Baba Ramdev is reportedly saying that even after taking both doses of the vaccine, 10,000 doctors and millions of people have died.
The Indian Medical Association, in its letter to Prime Minister Modi, said that the IMA has been continuously conveying messages about your commitment to vaccinate people in the age group of 18 years. Today, about 200 million people have been vaccinated in India due to the Government of India and Modern Medical Health Care Professionals, which is the fastest vaccination in the world. We are also thankful for your initiative to make vaccine in India and allow vaccines from other countries to be used in India.
The IMA wrote that it is a matter of relief that only 0.06 per cent of those who have taken both doses of the vaccine have seen very mild infection due to coronavirus and very few have serious lung infection. It was further written in the letter that it has been proved that the vaccine can save the lives of our people and reduce cases of serious infections in the country.
The IMA thanked Prime Minister Modi for his advice on the usefulness of vaccination in all addresses and for the treatment of Kovid. Along with this, PM Modi appealed to say so in the Mann Ki Baat program to be held on Sunday.
Regarding Ramdev, the IMA wrote that with great sorrow we want to bring to your notice that in one video it has been claimed that 10,000 doctors died even after taking both doses of Corona Vaccine and allopathic medicines caused millions of people. Has died, it is going viral on social media which belongs to Ramdev, the owner of Patanjali Products.
