Mumbai, 11/6 (AO Bureau): Ajit Pawar has responded to the speculations on Prashant Kishor’s meeting with Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) supremo Sharad Pawar. He made it clear that Prashant Kishor himself has said that he will not work as a strategist in the future. He said that there was a courtesy meeting between Sharad Pawar and Prashant Kishor. Sharad Pawar keeps meeting everyone, it does not mean that he will take Prashant Kishor’s help in the state or the centre.
In fact, Prashant Kishor, who played a key role in Mamata Banerjee’s victory in the West Bengal assembly elections, met NCP chief Sharad Pawar on Friday. Political speculation has intensified after this meeting of Prashant Kishor and Sharad Pawar. This meeting is being seen as a preparation for the 2024 Lok Sabha elections. Officially it has been described as a party organized to commemorate the victory of Bengal and Tamil Nadu elections.
This meeting happened at an interesting time
Actually, Kishor is meeting every person who extended his hand in support of Mamata Banerjee and MK Stalin during the elections. The funny thing is that Kishor-Pawar met at the exact time when senior Shiv Sena leaders on record are saying that the Prime Minister and those people are not together politically yet, but still their relationship is not broken. According to information received from Sharad Pawar’s office, Prashant Kishor reached Sharad Pawar at 10:30 in the morning. It was called a gift of courtesy. Later both of them also had lunch together. Officially it is being told as Prashant Kishor’s Thanksgiving visit related to Bengal and Tamil Nadu elections.
