New Delhi, 18/6(Ao Bureau): The condition of Kanta Prasad (81), who runs ‘Baba Ka Dhaba’, worsened after consuming sleeping pills. He has been admitted to Safdarjung Hospital in a critical condition, where he is undergoing treatment. In the initial investigation, the police have expressed apprehension that Baba had attempted suicide by consuming sleeping pills. Presently the investigation of the matter is going on. Police sources also told that Kanta Prasad’s wife has told that she had opened the restaurant in December 2020, which did not work. From there they made a lot of losses.
DCP South Atul Thakur says that Kanta Prasad’s son Karna has told the police that Kanta Prasad had consumed sleeping pills after drinking alcohol on Thursday night. As his condition worsened, he was taken to Safdarjung Hospital, where he has been admitted to the ICU.
