Kolkatta, 23/6 (AO Bureau): Trinamool Congress MP Nusrat Jahan, however, constantly remains in the headlines due to some controversies. This time she is in discussion due to the statements made about her personal life. West Bengal BJP President Dilip Ghosh has targeted Nusrat .Ghosh after his recent statement on matrimonial relationship with Nikhil Jain. Along with this, he demanded the suspension of Nusrat Jahan from the party.
Dilip Ghosh said- Nusrat Jahan is a woman MP. She is now saying that she is not married, despite applying vermilion to a person as her husband and inviting the Chief Minister to the reception. They have put Indian culture to shame by doing so.
The BJP President further said that it may be the ideology of TMC MP Saugata Babu but it cannot be the ideology of Bengal or India. He said that Nusrat Jahan should be suspended or he should resign from his post on his own.
It is worth noting that a few days ago, TMC MP Nusrat had issued a statement saying that due to marriage on foreign soil and according to the Turkish Marriage Regulation, the marriage is invalid. This is a marriage between people of two different religions, so it needed to be given legal recognition in India, but it did not happen.
