Two new IPL teams to be included from next year

Till now 8 teams have been landing in IPL. Talking about the current IPL season, it was postponed on May 4 after the Corona case came up. 29 matches out of 60 have been done. The remaining 31 matches are to be held in the UAE in September-October. However, their schedule has not come yet.

According to the news of Times of India, in August, the BCCI can take out the tender for two new teams. Two new teams can be found by October. Goenka Group and Adani Group are in the race to buy IPL teams. Ahmedabad and Lucknow franchises are ahead in the race for the city. After the addition of two new teams, the number of matches will also increase by 15 to 30 matches. In such a situation, in January next year, BCCI can take out the tender regarding media right.
