Shimla, 10/7 : Union Home Secretary Ajay Bhalla on Saturday expressed concern over the non-adoption of favorable behavior in relation to Covid-19 in hill stations and other tourist places, saying that the second wave of the epidemic is not over yet. The Home Ministry said in a statement that the Home Secretary reviewed the steps taken by the state governments to prevent the spread of Kovid-19 in hill stations and tourist places. In the meeting, the situation of Kovid-19 in Goa, Himachal Pradesh, Kerala, Maharashtra, Rajasthan, Tamil Nadu, Uttarakhand and West Bengal and management of vaccination were discussed.
According to the release, a message was given in the meeting that the second wave is at different levels in different states and union territories in the country and the overall infection rate may have declined, but Rajasthan, Kerala, Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu, West Bengal In Uttarakhand and Himachal Pradesh, the infection rate is more than 10 percent, which is a matter of concern.
