PM Modi to inagurate inaugurate redeveloped railway station at Gandhinagar

Gandhinagar, 16/7:Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the country’s first redeveloped railway station in Gandhinagar, the capital of Gujarat, on Friday. It is being told that the development of Gandhinagar Capital Railway Station has been done at a cost of Rs 71.50 crore. The biggest attraction here is the Five Star Hotel, which has been constructed in the station itself. This is the first hotel of its kind, which has been prepared by the Indian Railways. In 2017, the PM had laid the foundation stone of this station.

It is being said that this will be the first railway station in the country, where passengers will get airport level facilities. Indian Railways has shared an old and a new photo of Gandhinagar station. The Government of Gujarat and the Indian Railway Station Development Corporation (IRSDC) came together to start a joint venture called Gandhinagar Railway and Urban Development (GARUD). GARUD itself has redeveloped the station.
