Weightlifter Mirabai Chanu gave the nation a chance to smile and be proud by winning the silver medal at the Tokyo Olympics. After this historic success, he expressed his desire to eat pizza. He had said that I sacrificed a lot for the Olympics and did not even touch the pizza. I was just eating simple food. But now my dream has come true so I want to eat pizza. This wish of the daughter of the country will now continue to be fulfilled throughout her life. Because Domino’s has announced to give them pizza till lifetime.

Tweeting about this on his official Twitter account, Domino’s wrote that he said and we heard it. We never want Mirabai Chanu to have to wait to eat pizza. That’s why we are giving them free pizza for life. On social media too, people welcomed such an initiative for the Olympian and congratulated the company. Let me tell you that Mirabai won the silver medal in weightlifting on Saturday. He won this medal in 49 kg category. This is India’s second medal at the Olympics in Indian weightlifting history. India had earlier won a medal in weightlifting at the Sydney Olympics (2000). This medal was given by Karnam Malleswari. Mirabai Chanu is the first Indian weightlifter to win a silver medal in the Olympics.
