IND vs SL, 2nd T20I: Krunal Pandya corona virus positive, entire team sent to isolation

Colombo, 27/7 (AO Bureau):The second T20 match between India and Sri Lanka (India vs Sri Lanka) to be played today (July 27) has been postponed. Indian cricketer Krunal Pandya has been found to be Corona positive, due to which today’s match in Colombo has been postponed for a day. It is believed that the postponed game will now take place on Wednesday (July 28), after which the third match of the series will be held on Friday.

Both India and Sri Lanka teams have been sent to isolation after Krunal Pandya was found to be corona virus positive. A close watch will be kept on the players who are in close contact with Krunal Pandya. The match has been postponed for a day for the time being, but it looks difficult for the match to be played on Wednesday.

After Krunal Pandya was found corona positive, now the entire team will have to undergo RT-PCR test today. India won the ODI series 2-1 and are leading 1-0 in the T20I series.
