Jaipur, 30/7: Ashok Gehlot has indicated to give place to the Pilot faction in the power-organization in the legislative party meeting held at his home. Gehlot had given dinner to the MLAs at his official residence on Thursday night. During this, Gehlot said that forgetting the old things and move forward together. Party’s state in-charge Ajay Maken, who was present in the meeting, also gave a clean chit to Ashok Gehlot and said that I want to tell the CM that you should continue to do development work in Rajasthan like this. Maken will meet the party office-bearers and the candidates who lost the elections today. After that he will go to Delhi with his opinion on the Gehlot government and organization.
In the legislative party meeting held in CMR on Thursday night, Ashok Gehlot said that now is the time to forget the past. We have to move forward together. This statement of Gehlot is being considered as a step towards reconciliation with Pilot. However, there were no pilots in the meeting. They are in Delhi. Congress in-charge Ajay Maken and the Congress high command are constantly trying to bring Gehlot and Pilot together and get Pilot a share in power. But Gehlot was still adamant. It is now believed that Gehlot’s attitude has been soft on Pilot and his faction.
