Patna,2/8:NDA ally and Bihar CM Nitish Kumar has put BJP in trouble regarding Pegasus espionage case. Nitish Kumar has demanded an inquiry on this issue. He said that there should be talk on telephone tapping. All these things should be discussed keeping one thing in mind. When those people are speaking for so long, I think there should be an investigation. The government is saying and if people know something then it should be put forward. Earlier, he had publicly expressed concern several times when this scandal came to the fore.
On the question of meeting former Haryana CM Omprakash Chautala, Nitish Kumar said, “We are servants and doing service. We have no desire in our mind. If we have an old relationship with someone, then we don’t think there is any problem in that.”
Giving his stand on the caste census, he said, “We have already said that we keep talking about the caste census which is about. Today we will talk to everyone about this. Will talk to many party people. There will be no tension due to this, there will be happiness in the society. When the caste census is done, everyone will be satisfied. How many states do you think? It is up to the central government to implement it or not, we will keep our point forward. Some people may say that there is no difference of caste, no difference of community. It should happen once. Believe us, it will definitely be beneficial. We feel that everyone is of the opinion that this should be done once in the country, it is in the interest of the country.”
