Kabul, 27/8: US officials in Afghanistan handed over a “kill list” to the Taliban to target Afghan civilians who assisted US forces in the country. This information has been given in a media report.
According to Politico, after the Taliban captured Kabul earlier this month, US officials handed over a list of the names of American citizens, green card holders and Afghan allies to the terrorist group so that they could be taken to Hamid Karzai International Airport in Kabul. Be allowed to enter the surrounding Taliban controlled area.
The decision was taken despite the brutality of the Taliban after the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001, despite the brutal killing by the Taliban of Afghans who supported the US military and other Western forces during the war. The report said the move came amid the turmoil in the Afghan capital after the Taliban took over the country, evacuating thousands of civilians.
