Nagpur, 28/8: The Nagpur Bench of the Bombay High Court allowed a man from Aurangabad to divorce his wife. In fact, the man’s wife had uploaded her profile for her second marriage on two matrimonial websites even before her divorce from her husband, while the process of divorce between the two was still going on in a family court in Akola. In her profile, the woman wrote ‘Waiting for divorce verdict’.
The Division Bench of Justices AS Chandukar and GA Snap, in its judgment, held that the uploading of the profile on the metromonial website clearly means that Mahima has contemplated divorce from her husband. Even before the family has decided, she has also fixed the second marriage.
The court said that the respondent (wife) has completely made up her mind to get divorced by uploading the photographs on the website of the two marriages. From the present documents, it can be inferred that she wants to get rid of her husband and get married again.
